Janet Cherchuck and Stephen Shifflett own and operate Floradise Orchids on a 3.5 acre property in Gordonsville, VA. Their award-winning orchids can be found Thursday afternoons at the Penn Quarter FRESHFARM Market and Sunday mornings at the Bethesda Central Farm Market (Elm Street behind Jaleo). Each week they bring outstanding specimens to market from among the hundreds of varieties they grow, including phalaenopsis, dendrobiums, oncidiums, paphiopedilums, miltonias and other exotics. They also offer spa services, supplies, repotting, decorative containers and a propietary potting mix. Floradise also delivers arrangements weekly to some of DC's most prominent restaurants, bars, hotels, offices and condominiums. They will help you coordinate special floral presentations for parties, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays and seasonal celebrations.
