MANY ROCKS FARM
Washington County, MD
Jeanne Dietz-Band, a full-time goat farmer, focuses solely on what it takes to raise healthy and productive commercial goats. All of the farm practices are sustainable with strict attention paid to nurturing the natural environment and protecting area wetlands. Many Rocks products are guaranteed to be free of antibiotics, added hormones, pesticides, and chemical residues. All of the livestock are born and raised on the farm. The goats enjoy life in an open, stress-free pasture environment.
A healthy choice, goat meat (chevon) is higher in protein and iron than beef and lower in fat and cholesterol than skinless chicken breast. Many Rocks Farm offers chevon cuts, several types of chevon sausages, and preseasoned burger patties.
Jeanne also offers handcrafted goat-milk soap made with fresh whole milk from her Oberhasli and Golden Guernsey dairy goats. Herbs used in the soapmaking process are grown organically, dried and ground at the farm. Jeanne has carefully formulated her soaps using the highest quality vegetable oils without the use of dyes or any artificial colorants.
