SPRINGFIELD FARM

Springfield Farm offers dairy, eggs, meat and poultry. Livestock are raised by the family, on other farms they operate or on farms with which they have developed personal relationships. The farm is a diversified pasture-based operation where livestock live in as natural an environment as possible. Chickens are allowed to exercise their chickeness, and pigs their pigness. Springfield Farm can be found at our Harbor East FRESHFARM Market and at Owings Mills JCC and Bethesda Central Farm markets. The farm also operates buyers' clubs and is developing new ones for 2009 (contact the farm for details on how to participate). Springfield Farm has an on-farm market open Friday through Sunday from 10 am to 5:30 pm. Customers are encouraged to walk the farm at their leisure to verify its operations.
