LINDA FORRISTAL
Certified Culinary Professional
Linda Forristal is a certified culinary professional (CCP) and holds a masters degree in tourism. After the birth of her first son, her friends suddenly started calling her 'Mother Linda,' a moniker she quickly grew to love, so she adopted it as her nom de plume. Linda formerly served as the food and travel editor at The World & I magazine, is a member of Les Dames d'Escoffier and the International Association of Culinary Professionals. She is the author of Ode to Sucanat and Bulgarian Rhapsody: the Best of Balkan Cuisine and is doing research and gathering recipes for a cookbook on one of her long-time loves: lard.
